Okay, I am officially in love….. with my new Weber grill, that is! I used to love my old propane fueled grill, but I realize, now, that was just a small case of infatuation. What I have with my new Genesis S-330 is the best natural gas grill ever!
To be honest, the price kind of threw me in the beginning. But, this Weber came highly recommended to me from someone I trust, so I decided to just bite the bullet. And am I ever glad I did!
How naive I was before I received my new grill! I was just excited about never having to buy propane again. I had no idea about the thrills that awaited me once it was actually delivered.
I immediately realized the difference in the quality of this grill as compared to every other grill I’ve ever owned. It just doesn’t compare. It seems that when a product is made for quality, rather than how cheaply it can be put together and still be considered a “product,” the contrast is simply staggering.
Putting it together was a breeze due to the easy to follow instructions and the fact that everything was exactly where it was supposed to be and all of the parts were included. The most challenging part of the assembly, for me, was the side burner, but I eventually got it on and it works beautifully.
The grill is huge! “Buff” is the word that kept coming to my mind. It’s big and sturdy and solid and really is well made. The stainless steel design is just awesome!
After assembly came the fun part. Firing it up! The stainless steel cooking grates are really nice. Heated up very quickly. It cooked very evenly. I cooked three steaks, just a few minutes on each side, and they all came out perfect.
